Want to win some great Spanish wine from Valencia?
At The Spanish Thyme Traveller we visit some of the most interesting wineries in Valencia on our food and wine tours. Our tours are about experiencing local food and coming in contact with the local way of life.
One of our favourite bodegas is Celler del Roure which produces the famous Maduresa., a quality red wine which reflects years of hard work and passion for wine. Pablo Calatayud and his team are producing some really interesting wines. The Spanish newspaper El Pais once called Maduresa the best red wine from Valencia. It also has an original and eyecatching label design. Their bodega(winery) is situated between Mogente and Fontanares in a picturesque valley at the foot of the mountain where the remains of 2300 year old Ibero town ,Les Alcusses , are.

Great to keep getting local info
Smashing and quite cheeky strategy Paddy and Julia. I won´t take part since I hardly ever drink red wine (I´m a Rueda addict) but will keep the name of this wine in mind. And one of these days I must, MUST, get to Valencia. What a terrible gap in my knowledge of Spain. Hope you get lots of subscribers!
Thanks Mo and Tony for your comments!
